These babies are 19 weeks old and I have some clue as to what they may be, but I wanted expert opinions! They were ordered as "rainbow layers" from a hatchery. Now I do know that these first two are turkens, they are the same age, but I was wondering if the second one pictured was a roo instead of a hen and then I'd like to know the identities of the last two.

edited to add more pictures!

This "predator" is my son Jay.

Thanks for your help!

All hens.2 Turkens.Dark Cornish. For last one I need beter pictures. Is she pure black or has gold? What color legs she has?

The black hen is Black Minorca.Dark red one is a boy.Bird your son is holding is New Hampshire(may be boy or girl.Close up of comb will help us to tell the breed.

So far I've got an olive green egg, light green egg and then, of course, the New Hampshire is laying brown eggs. The black one has blue ears so I am wondering if she will lay blue eggs???? The catalog says they'll lay pink, blue, green, white and brown. I have several EE's mixed in with these other girls.

The New Hampshire is a hen. I actually knew what she was - amazing, huh!!! But she's already laying - that's the only reason I knew it was a hen. My son loves her to death!

The black hen will lay white eggs, and she could be a black andalusian. From Blue Andalusian stock. If her legs are slate colored.

That first turken is an interesting color! I want her.

She is quite pretty, imo - but she sure does fuss when she doesn't get her way!! I've spoiled all of my girls as I am quite sure everyone else on here has too!!

This is her as a baby. She was even pretty then. After the initial shock - though - of the neck!!
