Please Help Identify This Bird *New Pics Page 2*

Here is a couple of better pictures of her. If anyone can give breed (seems like a bantam red pyle old English game), approx. age, or confirm gender, that would be great! Also, she is missing feathers and has a cut on her vent area. Was told she had a run in with a fence & a dog. Yes pyle old english bantam hen, at least one year old for sure.

Awesome! So glad to have breed/gender sorted out. Age I figured I'd never know. Does anyone know how old one of these gals can be and still be laying? She hasn't laid an egg yet, but I am sure her system is off line due to all the stress & environment changes she's had to deal with lately. Just trying to sort out if she is past the point of laying? Anyone know how long I might have to wait to get an egg (and if more time goes by she is probably past the age of laying)??

She looked to be about ready to lay but yes, stress can put them off for a bit. I'd just relax and let her surprise you "whenever".

This breed is not necessarily a great layer, don't expect eggs every day or even every month.

Hens lay the best before two, after than it declines a little bit however they can keep laying every year until 9-10 yrs. By that age the egg laying can be quite a far in between...
