Please help identify this rescue roo

What about the light feathers? I thought they were white feathers that "aged" or got dirty, but could it be that they are blondish?
Not sure what you mean by this but he is a white and black bird, if he has a little yellow hue to him it might be from the sun (the feathers can change color some and its called sun bleached) or due to feed. Other than this I have no idea what you might be asking, so I hope this is what you are referring to.

Ah, yes, that is what I'm asking. It's not very clear in the pics, but his feathers are not really white, but a dirty white/blondish color. So I wasn't sure if he is a black and white bird, or if he is a black and white/blond bird.

Ooh, interesting! Thank you for further insight on what he could be. I had thought the white lobes were a sign of old age, but now I know otherwise!

Nope, light feathers are not generally a sign of old age in chickens. Chickens can be many different color patterns; your rooster doesn't look to be an exact color pattern, but the one he most closely resembles is Birchen or Silver Duckwing. The fact that your rooster's feathers are yellowish is a sign that he's been out in the sun (sun causes feathers to get "brassy", which is a defect when showing poultry), or it could be his natural color.

Thank you for this information; it's very helpful! I looked up Birchen and Silver Duckwing roosters and I see how this rooster resembles them. Paired that with the Polish mix and I have a much better idea as to his lineage.

The info about the brassy feathers is new to me, too. It's possible that he's been out in the sun. I'm curious to see if the brassiness will fade as time goes on and if he stays with us.

I love all the new knowledge that I have learned from this lost rooster! Thanks to all who've replied!
