Please help identify

Hi all hope you can help? About two months ago, one of my girls had an egg that didn't form properly, I took her to the vets got her cleaned up and some antibiotics, she hasn't laid since then although I have found a couple of eggs with no shell which I presume were hers. Yesterday she passed something the size of a baked bean that was a creamy colour and rubbery like play dough, this was directly before a poo. I wonder if this could be some kind of larvae although they are wormed regularly? She hasn't been as active as usual but is eating, drinking and scrabbing as normal. I Would be greatful if someone could offer some advice?

I'd say its likely to be a fart-egg and certainly not larvae. How long has she been laying? Some newbies to laying can lay some weird eggs.

Another possibility is that it was a small 'lash egg'. This is caused by salpingitis. Here are a couple of sites that have info that may help you id if this is what you saw.

Thanks for your link very helpful. Shes about two years old and has been laying since she was about 20 weeks.

All symptoms point to Salapingitis, looks like a trip to the vets. Thanks for your help.
