I am so sorry to hear that. As hard as culling can be sometimes it is the right thing to do and in this case you called all the right shots. We all go through something like this at times with our birds and we do every thing we can for them. Good Job!

Thanks for the support. I am working very hard to establish myself in my new hobby, and this forum is soooo helpful. Hopefully Ill have a better hatch in a week. 9 more eggs going strong, then I'm done for the summer.

Glad you had someone there to handle the situation. It's hard but sometimes our intuition tells us what must be done. Your chick obviously had very bad trauma and was much worse than hoped. May your future hatchings be healthy and happy!!
