Before I start please don't suggest a cull.

Today I had my first chick hatch. I had been hearing it all day but the hens wouldn't show me (3 broody hens all in the same spot. I finally got a look at it and it had looked fine, standing up and being noisy as ever. I then left for the shop and when I returned it was quiet. I found that my chick had been attacked by one of the hens. It's now doing better as I have had it under heat and given it some glucose water. Any more suggestions? Tia

Hello!

!!!

Perhaps I have missed this bit but what is wrong with your chickie??? She was attacked by the broody hens, but is she just lying still or moving about or.....?

@amber Rex thanks sorry I was panicking and didn't write everything. she was lying still, both eyes had been pecked and a cut?? The broody hens attacked her. Why I don't know. I took her inside put her under heat, cleaned the wounds and have her some sugar water. She's doing much better now sitting up and arguing with me making it hard for me to give her more water. Any other suggestion?
