Oooh I love Sumatras!I'm wanting to, yes! I need to organize it... since I'm so disorganized.I've popped them in the incubator yesterday but need to take pics.
It's 24 Sumatra eggs and 15 Silkie eggs! We ordered show quality Sumatra eggs (ordered 16, got the 24!) for our son, since we had a long-term failure to thrive that just wouldn't grow and our son was heartbroken when he passed. So we sprung in on the show quality Sumatra eggs and Silkies from a very lovely quality breeder because... well, Silkies.
We were supposed to get 24 silkie eggs total but there was a packaging issue so the other 12 are getting here Saturday! AND we thought we'd had a package of Serama eggs lost in the mail (no updates for a whole week until it showed up today) that I'm gonna just toss in the incubator today and see what happens. I may wait until then and just do one more HUGE hatchalong with the batches of dates listed.
Our last hatchalong for the year, so may as well go big with it.

Ahaha, that absolutely would be our luck! We'll just need a bigger boat. Er, bachelor pad.
Same though! Ours have been SO lovely, and so very sweet/docile, so I'm really hopeful we get at least a few of each color. They were sold blue/black/splash.
The Silkies are all hen's choice, and I LOVE a good surprise. The breeder has a ton of different colors (splash, paint, buff, white, black, gray, mauve, mottled etc.) so I'm really stoked to see what we get from those. The Seramas? Anyone's guess.I love the breeder for them (we got our first hatching eggs, Polish, from her) so she had an incredible deal on the eggs so we JUMPED on it. I'll have a lot of organizing to do for one big final bonanza hatchalong. And to pick a theme!
