Hey guys, me again. I know I've been asking this question a lot but I'm getting really discouraged at this point. Up until now my favorite hen has always been ladylike but now it looks as tho she is getting saddle feathers? Anyone have an opinion on this? Please tell me I'm crazy and she's still a she!

I've read that before too 😫 idk what to do at this point. Out of 20 chicks from 2 different suppliers I've ended up with like. 4 LIKELY hens and day by day the rest are proving to be cockerels. I'm about to give up on the idea of ever getting eggs and Now I'm stuck with a BUNCH of cockerels that no one wants to take off my hands. This bird specifically was my all time favorite and I couldn't wait for "her" to start laying. I could honestly cry 😭

I'd the odds are like 50/50 how did I possibly end up with 95% boys? I don't get it. Now I can't get rid of them. I've posted them all over. I've tried giving them away and no one wants them. I don't even have the space to keep them all and try evening out The numbers with new hens. I'm actually. Literally in tears over chickens now!

Just because I'm new, and love learning all the things. What breed? What age? And can you post a picture of it standing, and of it's face? At first I was thinking Hen, but then read the comments. 😊

OK now I don`t mean to sound cold but dealing with excess cockerels is just part of raising chickens. If you can`t find em a place to go or process them to eat you could just let them out of the pen and let mother nature take care of the situation.
