I've only seen new hatched Java chicks- so no help here. I'm sorry. I do know some Javas are mottled.

I was actually wondering on this one if there is someone who can like check the dna to see the breed.

Actually, most of the posters on those threads said that he was a mix. They also suggested what breeds might be in him.
