Please help is this frostbite on his comb and waddles

Frostbite starts form the tips, this is definitely from pecking and it's minor. Get used to it. Hens and roosters sport these on their combs almost all the time. It's only a problem if it becomes targeted bullying and/or open wounds are involved. Minor black dots form pecks are normal. Relax, he looks great

its been getting down to like 16-15F at night he does not tuck his head into his wings but since were pretty sure its peckin wounds how do you prevent that

I have yet to discover how to stop roosters from fighting.
