I bought some chicks and some guineahens and a duck and turkeys all babies they told me that i had to keep them all seperate and not in the same cage is their any reasons that you should not keep them in the same run or pen

They could have told you that for a number of reasons... feed requirements, space requirements, size difference, diseases, etc.

I personally would not raise them all together, but I have raised keets and Turkey poults together several times with no issues (they should both be fed the same high protein starter feed, 27-28%). Chicks and ducklings have different protein requirements than the turkey poults and Guinea Fowl keets do tho.

I know Turkeys can get black head disease from the chickens when they are older, but I have no idea if it can happen as babies, so that may be a concern for you. The only chickens I raise are Silkies, but I raised them separate from everybody else and they only free range with one mixed flock of Guineas and Turkeys now that they are mature... but I have not had any issues of any kind.

As long as the keets are not getting trampled, they are getting enough feed and water and are warm enough they should do ok being raised with the poults. Keets can fly as early as a week and a half to 2 weeks old so their brooder will need to have a top on it.

I know a lot of people raise chicks and ducklings together just fine, so maybe you can just set up 2 brooders/pens instead of 4. I've read that ducklings can make a mess of the brooder really fast (never raised any tho). You may want to ask over on the duck forum if chicks and ducklings make a good mix in a brooder and can eat the same feeds while they grow or not. I don't know anything about ducks or raising them, sorry.

And just to warn you, when the Guineas get older they may turn aggressive towards your chickens and ducks... but I have never had any issues with my Guineas and Turkeys that were raised together. I have read that when Turkeys mature they sometimes stomp on the chickens (may happen to ducks too). My Turkey Hens boss my Guineas around, and the Toms just strut and drum all day... but the Guineas are all smart enough to get out of the way.

Hopefully others have more input.

thank you for your info i think i will take your adavice on making two pens
