Hi!
I have 4 maran chicks. Today I was watching one of them, and he seemed not able to stand on his feet(foot?). I looked at his legs and feet - and he does not seem to have any apparent injuries, but every time he is trying to get up - it seems he plops back down, like something would not let him.
He was sicklish on Wednesday, but seem to get recovered - and looked good 3 last days. Ate fine, and scratched and pecked. But today - this((
I have a version ( I hope it might be it - but not really sure) - may be his feet have grown too big and one foot steps onto another and he feels trouble to walk.
It also seems like he has trouble to hold himself up. While I was writing this he made a big poop which looks healthy. May be he ate too much and is too heavy?
Any advice? What can it be?
Thank you for any input!

I don't think it's his feet or his weight. I would try a multivitamin esp with B vitamins in it. See if you can work on some therapy like moving him away for the others and see how he tries to get back.
If he loses weight or continues paralysis (a guess), we'll think further. Watch him eat. Is he really eating ? You see him get a crumble in his mouth and swallow it? Make sure.

Thank you Seminolewind, for your help!
Yesterday after I had done some research online, I thought it lookes like he is in need of Multivitamins, as you said. According to reccomendation I got Poly-vi-sol for babies and also vitamin B( stress formula). gave it to him yesterday 2 times and today. He looks better.
Yes, he seems to be alert and having normal appetite. Today he was able to get on his feet a little and pecked around a bit. Yesterday he spent the night by himself( I did not want the birds trample him) he seems better today. I took them ALL outside today, he was a bit moving around on the grass on his legs ( I thought some sun and grass might help him a little too) That went well.
Will conitinue with vtamins as it seems to be working:)

Let me know how it goes.

I did Poly vi- sol infants vitamins - couple drops twice a day. I also made a B-vitamin drink with Pedialite and honey.
He basically started feeling better the next day - and now going healthy and strong!
Thank you all for your input!
