Please Help Me City Trying To Take My Chickens Away ( Michigan )

Hey i live in Dearborn heights MI, The city is trying to take away my silkies. From my understanding there a Michigan right to farm act i printed it off and took it to the city hall. Can anyone help me? any info at all please??

not familiar w/ the area but there are usually ordinances about having them in city limits. I would try to find that. I can understand saying no roosters in town but I don't understand hens. They are less noisy than most peoples dogs! well shoot roosters are less noisy than some peoples dogs! Hope you can find some info and save your babies.

I'm having the same problem, the city came in this morning and gave us a week to remove our pet chickens and I don't know what to do. Please help.

Sounds like Dearborn Heights is doing an anti chicken sweep.

In most cities, an order or infraction must have the code/law reference included. Find it online and go from there.
