Hi! I was sent this chick from Meyer. I think she was a substitute chick for a chick they could not fulfill for me and they did this without letting me know (which is okay.) She looks nothing like any of the breeds I ordered. I cannot determine what kind of chick this is. There are chickens that look similar, but I cannot pinpoint it. I love her and I am doing my absolute best for her, but she is kind of aggressive towards me and the other chicks. I want to look more into the breed. Thank you :)

Could be one of their mixes like the green queen, or the favaucana. Definitely looks like an Easter mix with that comb. Is it a standard or Bantam?

From that heavy leg feathering and body shape, i'd lean toward oriental, can't really see what comb type - but possibly a blue cochin or if that is a peacomb, maybe a brahma(i don't think they come in blue-but idk) or cochin mix. Most Favaucana carry the five toe gene, so count those toes :)

Green Queens have 5 toes on occasion.

EE, & Faverolle.

The Green Queen Bantams have Silkie in the blend, so occasional crest, 5 toes, & fibromelanosis with the bantam variety.
If the hatchery is breeding them, the likelihood is high they will throw one of them in. I'm not that great at identifying chicken breeds, especially if they're a mix! Meyer does have Blue Copper Marans (though I have absolutely no idea what a Marans chick looks like), that would be a nice extra to have tossed into your order. :)
