My name is Sunshine and i am 23 weeks old and apparently fully grown. I am about the size of a pigeon. I am very mild mannered and am the softest of the 5 different breeds we own. The other full grown chickens have a REAL problem with me and won't stop picking, so I stay in my box in the house. My family has no idea what my future holds... since they don't know what I am.

Thank you so much for the information!! I believe after viewing the pics that you are correct and that she is a White Laced Cornish Bantam. Now........what to do with her?! I only have one coop and don't want her injured.......

If you want to keep her with your other hens, and don't want to build a second coop, then she should be fine.It depends on wether the other chickens are much bigger than her.But if you have small types like bantams, silkies, rosecombs, she should be fine.If you have lage breeds of chooks, make sure they don't bully her, and keep checking on her to see where she is in the pecking order.I had a silkie with 5 barnevelders and the silkie was at the top of the pecking order! So it depends on what your chickens personalities are like. Good luck

My chickens arepenned but also get out do a lot of free ranging. They all sleep together at night in 1 small coop instead of some in one and the rest in the other. I have both LF and bantams. I love my standard dark Cornish rooster. Good to the hens and breaks up any disagreements. He is going to have to go away though as he has started trying to flog me. I won't keep a rooster like that.So far my salmon Faverolles roo is fine, but I am wondering once he is the "ruler of the roost" , if he will change.
I would say keep it. You can still eat the eggs.
