Please Help Me Identify A Few of My Chicks!

Our seven chicks from Murray McMurray Hatchery are 16 days old today, and I think I have finally identified all but three of them! I am pretty sure I know my two Ameraucanas, my Speckled Sussex, and I definitely know my Golden Polish.

What I'm not sure about is which of the remaining three are my Cream Legbar, Bielefelder, and my surprise chick...and what IS my surprise chick?? I thought some of you might to weigh in and at least guess!

Looks like all have a similar color, two look Crele and one looks partridge. I would expect the legabr and bie to have the barring/Crele color but sometimes they end up very light or none at all, and it's hit and miss with hatchery birds.

Someone else could chime in and know exactly, but personally I'd wait longer. It'll only be easier once they get older and more feathered in all three have single combs, right?

Yes they all have single combs.

I keep waiting on the leg bar to develop her crest, and then I will know for sure.

I’m super curious about what the surprise chick is!

Well, I think I had it all wrong! It seems this baby must be my Cream Legbar since today I am seeing the beginnings of a tiny crest! What do you think?

The color just doesn't seem right though. Her down was more gray/black than what I've seen, and she isn't getting the salmon feathers on her chest yet. Maybe my surprise chick has a crest too...?

The color you're seeing in normal, the barring on some CCL is very very faint or nonexistent, and sometimes it's the opposite! (and everything in-between)

I think lighter one with spot on head is bielefelder and darker is legbar.

Thanks! I was thinking the lighter one was the Bielefelder too, and today the one I thought was the surprise chick starting showing signs of a crest.
