I'm pretty sure that the 2 buff orpingtons are pullets, but I am unsure about the white EE. I have a feeling it is a rooster.

Partridge Cochin... I'm thinking pullet?

one of my brown EE. I'm thinking this might be a rooster too.

I'm looking at the white chick and thinking Jersey Giant. Anyone else? Although I just looked them up and they're straight comb. I'm just not seeing ee there, and I didn't think the roos were usually all white, I thought that was a hen deal. Looks like a boy. I'll be looking at other responses

The buffs and cochin look girly, the turken and brownish ee look like roos.

I think both BO's are girls. Both of my "pullet" BO's look like that at 7 weeks old, and I doubt both would be wrong. Also, they don't act roo-ish at all so I'm not worried. I suppose if the one with the larger comb acts rooish at all, then maybe you could be suspicious.

If it is a Jersey Giant, the hatchery grabbed outta the wrong bin! LOL. It was very yellow when younger, i thought it was an extra buff orpington until i saw the legs.

The EE looks male to me too. I think both BO's are pullets, but I cant see very well on the lower one. The cochin- i have no experience with this breed at all- but it looks girly to me. Turken-definate roo. the brown EE unsure. The comb looks wide, but isn't reddening yet...

ok I got a couple better pics of the white EE. I dont see any waddles, but the comb is really bright.

The chicks are 8 weeks old.

Pullet or cockerel?
