The wife and the kids and I were so excited to welcome home 8 chicks today that were shipped to us. Here is what I orders, all female.

1 Australorp
1 Rhode Island Red
1 Barred Rock
1 Speckled Sussex
1 Cream Legbar
1 Golden Buff
2 Easter Eggers

The Australorp was easy to identify as was the Barred Rock. The Rhode Island Res was also easily identifiable as was the Golden Buff.

What I'd really like help to identify and also confirm my order is correct is the final four pictured. Hopefully in this photo we have

1 Cream Legbar
1 Speckled Sussex
2 Easter Eggers

As I'm new to these breeds, your help is much appreciated.

A is an Easter Egger with those puffy cheeks. Cream Legbars and Speckled Sussex are basically identical as chicks, that would be B and C. Since C feet look yellow, I'm guessing that's your Cream Legbar. Which leaves D as your other Easter Egger.

It's really amazing how similar they can be as chicks and be so absolutely different from each other fully grown.

A looks like an Easter Egger.
B looks like your Speckled Sussex.
C looks like your Cream Legbar.
D looks like your other Easter Egger.
They're a bit young, but your Speckled Sussex will develop pink legs and your Cream Legbar will develop yellow legs if you want to tell them apart more easily.
