Could someone explain these? I found them out back behind my house. Thinking males someone dumped because they just wanted the females. Any idea? Thanks

They look like guineas. I don't know what sex they are.
You might be right that someone dumped them. Or maybe someone tried to let them free range, and the guineas decided to go exploring. I don't know enough about guineas to say which is more likely.

It probably works better to put this thread in the section for "What breed or gender is this?"
https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/what-breed-or-gender-is-this.15/

If you want it moved, you would need a moderator to do that. Click "report" on any post in the thread, and you will get a popup box so you can type an explanation, which then goes to the mods.

Guinea fowl are notorious for wondering away and choosing their own place to call home. Enjoy them! They call out (loudly) when they see predators and they're pretty great at tick control. I had a wondering group in my woods from a neighbor's farm for a bit but they moved on.

Guineas

Not likely to have been dumped because of being males since guineas do best in a 1:1 male to female ratio. Also they are youngsters and can't be sexed from just looking at them.

As suggested, very likely to have wandered off. Not a good idea to put them in with your chickens.
