I think that the chick is a barred rock pullet as well. No clue on the duck.

My guess for the chick is Barred Rock.

I would say it's possible to be a cuckoo maran or a barred rock as it was a rainbow collection.

I haven't had a barred rock chick in a while, but I picked up 6 cuckoo marans yesterday and they look like yours (though I didn't look at the legs). I will post pics later..

Thank you all so much for your help. Im so excited about my little duck. Should grow to be very pretty. Already have a few pekins i raised on our big pond. This one should make a nice addition. looking forward to c how the chick turns out! Thank you all!
