Another way you can remember your chicken's name is if you name them after a song. like "Sugar" by the Archie's for example. I have one hen named "Bebobpalula."

I like to name big hens old lady names, but little hens I would probably name them something cute, I had 2 little bantams, I hatched from eggs I would have used to make cakes, or cookies, I named the hens "cake and cookie". They were very sweet.

It’s funny you mention naming the big hens old lady names. My mom likes to give my chickens old fashioned names and sometimes they’re horrendous.

When my light brahmas were chicks I would sit on the carpet and watch music videos and they were always so interested.

I always tell people when they're trying to name there babies, practice yelling there name 1st. If it rolls off your young it's fit to go in the hat hahaha
