Please help me--Newbie-Candleing Serama eggs Day 15

also, have you been turning the eggs? If not the embryos more than likely got stuck to the shell. Like I've been told a million times just learn from your mistakes

I notice you said you received them and sat them the same day. Did you allow them to settle down from the shipping pointy end down for 12-24 hours?

I have had better luck with just putting my eggs in the incubator without letting them set, do I suggest this for everyone, no of course not, you have to find what works best for you. But when I let my eggs set, I get less of an outcome then if I just put them in right away..

As in all new endeavors, educating oneself prior to jumping in head first is imperative to success. Before one buys a rabbit, one would research and find out everything possible about how to best care for the animal. When buying a new car, one has already done one's homework regarding every aspect and function of the car. Same is true of incubating chicken eggs. It's a process that must be studied PRIOR to one's first attempt.

I've been turning ab out 3 times a day. I have one that looks like it is stuck to one side....I put them in the incubator on the 25th so that does shave off a little time. I will check again in a few days and let you all know. I was hoping to at least just get one....Guess I will have to try again. Thank you all for the info!

Just cross your fingers you never know.
