I have two Barred Rocks, both bought at the same time and the same place ..although I do think one is older. He/She is the one with the redder comb - that one was the first to grow wing tips and tail tip feathers. He/She has a redder comb but as far as I can tell, everything else about him.her says "female". I call that one "black beak".
The other is the most brave of the two but is a lil smaller, less red on the comb but otherwise the same.
Both have quite a bit of black running down their legs. Neither have sign of waddles. They both should be just past the 6 week mark.
