Okay, any of the mommies of humans here ever have braxton-hicks (false labor)? My first baby I was sure for a week I was in labor. All false alarms. I've decided that's what watching chicks hatch is like.

I woke up at 3:45am and thought "If I go down there and see all the eggs in the exact positions, they will be carting me out in a straightjacket." It took me about 10 minutes to get up my courage, and as soon as I opened the door....all was quiet!!

THEY WERE SLEEPING!!!! OMG, SO CUTE!!!!! 4 babies had just hatched, they were still damp. I breathed such a sigh of relief, you have no idea!!! Went back up to bed and laid there for an hour before dozing off. This morning at 6am, 2 more had hatched and one was zipping. So that's 6 out of 7 and one almost done.

Thank you everbody, for the support. I had no idea I was going to be this stressed out over the hatch, but everyone here was awesome and I thnk you all so much!!

Good morning all!
Got up and WE GOT ONE too!
It finished and now is sitting in the shell still, struggles a little to try to get out and takes a nap

It is soooo adorable!
It looks up at us thru the glass, probably feels like "Jack and the beanstock"

AND we got another pip going! (5 eggs in hatcher)

Here's to another EGGciting day!
