Please help me to identify this chicken

I am trying to identify this chicken, I got them 2 days ago from La Quail Farm and do not know their breed or age (the workers there did not know anything). One chicken doing ok another refused to walk, just sit on her but. I check her legs - they are looks ok - no broken bones. Also I realized the tip of her beak are broken. Anything I could do to safe her life?

They look to be new hampshire reds.
That sitting down is not normal, she looks to be egg bound, i would check that.

It appears that the birds have been beak trimmed. Their beaks will grow out in time. Now the one who is sitting on her butt is very concerning. How does she get around?
You may need to put her in a chicken sling.

She was sitting inside the coop all day yesterday - I did not want to disturb her because it was a new location for them. Another chicken always stay with this one. She could get up and walk only a couple of steps and loosing her balance and sit on her butt. I just took them inside the house for the night - maybe it was little cold for them to stay outside - we are in Northridge, California and temperature at night around 45-50

The cold shouldn’t be a problem, I did not do anything special when it got to -25 where I live.

It’s not too cold for them.

Lubricate your finger really well and insert it in her vent about an inch or so, and check for an egg. If you feel one, soak her in a warm bath with Epsom salt for about 20 minutes and see if she will pass the egg. You may want to give her a boost of calcium, like a crushed tablet of Caltrate with some yogurt.

They are hatchery quality New Hampshires, and I would be concerned that your hen has something even worse than being egg bound. Was she walking when you purchased her ? Their beaks were trimmed as chicks and may or may not regrow - all depending upon how badly the quick has been damaged.

If the beak was trimmed - only for one chicken - the other one its fine. Also I just hear that she is sound like coughing

I hold her on my hands and she sound terrible.
