PLEASE HELP ME!

Why do you think it needs vitamins?

Chickens do much better with other chickens; they are a flock animal.

Well I had him walking around my room yesterday and he attempted tp jump onto my bed, my bed is about a foot off of the ground and he usually jumps on with ease. Well, he jumped and fell back to the ground, he tried again and didnt make it, his toes curled up beneath him. His appetite is fine, he is drinking and eating normally, I just think that his muscles might not be functioning properly. What do you think? I recently had another bird, but she died, maybe he might be getting lonely, sad, etc.?

If one chicken is all you have, you might need to consider getting a new friend....they love to have company......what did your other chicken die of? You need to make sure that your current friend is okay.....do you put ACV in his water? Plenty of food? This is my first flock...I have 14 girls....they are 7 weeks old today...and I am constantly worrying/doing all sorts of things for them......want them to stay as healthy as possible...........hope someone else can be of more help. :)

Your chicken definately needs a friend. Chickens are social animals, so that means your bird needs at least one other bird as company. However, chickens do best in trios, one rooster and two hens.

Thanks you for all of your help :) so, I shouldnt get vitamins?, he seems awfully weak from his legs. And my other bird died of worms, I hadnt given the dewormer to them because it said " for 100 birds give 4 oz," "200 birds give 8 oz." And I only had 2 birds! What good was that information!?

Did you have a vet diagnose the worms? You definitely should take a fecal sample back to your vet from this chick. The worms could be making him weak and vitamins won't fix that. Good luck

Unless you've seen worms in his poop, I doubt he has worms... otherwise he wouldnt be eating and drinking normally. Most likely he injured his leg jumping up and down off your bed; sprained ligament or tendon. Isolate him in a cage with food and water. Restricting his movement will give time for the injury to heal. If you dont, it'll get worse and he wont be able to walk at all, causing a quality of life issue where you'll have to make a tough decision whether to cull him or not.
You can add vitamin B complex to his feed, it may or may not help speed up his recovery. These types of injuries take time to heal; sometimes a week, a month, several months, or never.
