My only duckling hatched this morning. And I automatically knew something was wrong. Its feet are curled backwards and his toes don't spread out. I have tried putting boots on him but they don't do anything. I really need help. Its my only one, so I would do anything for him to live. Please help me.

When this happens with chickens they cut out little card board sandles and you wrap the feet on the sandles with small strips of vet wrap. The sandles are made in the shape you want the feet to go and the toes are even cut to act as a brace for the bird. Like little sandles. He should be able to walk in them. Cut out the little sandles to fit his feet and use the sandles as a brace for the feet. Let me see if I can find an example online and I'll send you the link

Ok sounds good. But now I have a different problem, he cut the yolk sac by walking on the wire mesh. What should I do, this turning out to be a horrible day.
