Please Help, Messy Butt

As close to the skin as you can without cutting her, cut the affected feathers off and throw them away, then give her a bath. Make sure you look again tomorrow to see if she has a messy bottom again. If she does, she probably has a disease, however, that's not very likely if she is the only one like this. If she continues to have a messy bottom or others get it then they probably do have a disease. I'm not up enough on that to tell you what disease this might be, but others probably are.
Also consider what she's been eating, is she getting enough nutrition?

What 'other issues' do you mean? Is her bottom swollen? It looks sort of red in the picture, but some chicken's skin usually looks like this around their vent.

At first I thought it might be vent gleet which requires specific treatments. After seeing the pic in post #3; it may have been the feces that was stuck to her bottom, and uric acid can cause skin irritation and the redness you're seeing. Buy Nu Stock in the equine section at your feed store and apply it to the red areas, it should heal up in time. It comes in a tube, continue treatment as necessary. Make sure you shake it well before applying it and wear disposable gloves. Avoid her eyes and nostrils.
