Please help! My chicken is pooping some really weird colored stuff but acting normal.

I keep the light off at night unless I check on her real quick. I did put her out with everyone for a few and she was walking around and pecking the birds. She is too bird so they all pretty much now to her. I leave her food at night but she sleeps so I doubt she is eating.

She is top bird and they all pretty much bow to her

She has a little mit of blood in her poop. Could it be coccidious

Feed her normal feed, no treats for a few days. See if it clears up.

"treats" is anything that is not her normal poultry feed.

Are you taking her food out at night?
Only normal chicken feed - no olive oil, no corn, etc. (No Treats)
Is she drinking well?
Is her crop emptying overnight?

Was it blood or tomato that you saw in her poop?

Do you have a friend, parent or family member that can help you with her?

My mom thinks she is fine but I am telling her she isn’t. She doesn’t believe me. I have corid would that treat her?? It’s stringy green now with a tad of blood. I am going to try and get her to a vet this week. I am so worried I am going to lose her. She is drinking some water. I think her crop is emptying. I haven’t given anything to her today.

You should know if her crop is empty if you took out food/water overnight. It should be flat.

A bird that is isolated does not do as well as one that is outside around their flock. Consider putting her back with her flock while you monitor her for a few days.

i noticed suddenly she started shaking her head a lot. I have ants in the bathroom and they could have bitten her though. I am taking her to the vet

So I took her to the vet. I didn’t want to go to him but he was the only one available today. He mentioned mereks and it’s got me all freaked out. He gave her some medication and sent out a sample for parasites. If she had Mereks, wouldn’t she be wobbly and unstable with sprawled legs and be lethargic?? She has bumblefoot and holds her foot up once in awhile but she isn’t like those pics online. She does shake her head a lot and rub her beak on the ground but she doesn’t like do it every second. I gave her one of the medications tonight because the other they gave me didn’t have enough of it in the bottle so I have to call them in the morning. I have her metronidazole and Benadryl. The first one is the one I have her and that’s what she pooped but then went back to pooping green.
