I have to take her to the vet soon but she doesn't like people or other dogs... Can someone please help me? I don't know if it's a benign or not but she's had it for a year and had been infested with mites and fleas (she is being treated for but not much affect) can anyone help? She's an unfixed 7 yr old white German Shepard named molly.. I love her dearly

She might not like people but vets do have muzzles. Some of the black stuff looks like flea dirt but its kind of blurry. I would urge you to take her for an exam asap about that bump. Only a veterinarian can tell you exactly what it is.

Thank you, we should have token her sooner but she gets excited around people (she does not bite but does jump) and she hates when things run away from her....

A bath with dawn dish soap kills fleas and is gentle for the dog, you may want to do that before, just so the vent can see more clearly...or..don’t so he can see the whole issue..your call

I'm not a veterinarian or a vet tech so I won't comment on the lump. You don't need any more reasons to be anxious about it.

But I will say as someone that had dog-aggressive dogs, vets will accommodate you if they know in advance your pooch doesn't like other dogs. I would go into the office say 'Hey, I'm here with Luna' and we'd go in through a back door. The vet tech would make sure the halls were clear.

Good luck and keep us posted.
