My duck was attacked by a raccoon and the one side of her face is scratched up.
What can I do?
Will the raccoon come back?

I'm sorry to hear this. A fox killed four of my mallard ducks a while ago.

My duck that was bitten by a fox survived. It healed up with no problem, however, it was not in the face. I cannot tell you if she will be okay. To help prevent the raccoon attacks, secure your pen more by getting some stronger wire. You could also set traps to get rid of those raccoon as well as other predators. Chicken wire is n't that strong, surprisingly!!! That is why I don't use that. You can help her to recover by giving her a stress free environment.

Thank you Duckopolis... I will get started on different wire and we are setting up traps today :)

s doing okay this morning. We checked to see if she had any other wounds. There are no other serious injuries besides the one side of her face. She is missing an eye and has a gash on the top of her head.
I saw online that you can give a duck a warm bath to help with the shock and injuries...
Is this a good idea?
