Please help my Guinea pig

Hello I had my Guinea pigs out running around and it never occurred to me that she would get into my dog food bowl and she on,y ate one peice of dog food and that was about a week ago and now she is just laying in her cage she hasn't been eating as much either so what can I do to make her better thanks in advance.

I don't believe a piece of dog food from a week ago would cause troubles, there must be something else wrong with it.

The dog food wouldn't hurt her. However, guinea pigs are prone to pneumonia. What is the life span of a guinea pig anyway? At three years could she be suffering from old age?

+1 there is nothing in a small amount of dog food that would harm a guinea pig... By nature they are herbivores, but many in captivity are fed a slightly omnivore diet that contains animal proteins...

I checked, life span is 5-10 years, they are a long lived rodent.

Yes and she is usually eating constantly like she is a bottomless pit and ripping on the cage for something else to eat after sh finishes her carrots lettuce and maybe a peice of pepper and they get Timothy hay and Guinea pig feed and her sister is just fine

I'm sure they suffer from all kinds of diseases and illnesses like all animals do. Not much you can do without taking it to a vet unfortunately.
