please help my hen WAS broody is she still...!!!!!?????

hi i have a d,uccle thats been broody for three days and in that time the hens kept pushing her off the nest so today im was going to give her her own spot where the hens could still see her but touch her and shes been sitting on a fake egg but today she was doing pretty good untill two hens went to lay an egg and took her fake egg to put it under her and pushed her off the nest and know for a good couple of hours and is not going back to the nest when there gone this is her first time being broody is she even broody any more what do i do should i still give her her own space to make sure

Try putting her back on the current nest and see if she stays there.

1.) stick to one thread. It’s hard to know all the information when you keep creating new threads for the same topic/situation. You currently have 8 threads about this broody.

2.) if she’s easily pushed off the nest then she may just be practicing being broody. If she’s practicing then she may do this again and again. Potentially eggs would die from her leaving the nest.

3.) you could move her to a safe place and wait to see if she stays. Since this is just her 3rd day she may not be committed to the family way.
