Please help me,

I adopted my first pair of Snowy Call Ducks in late October.
They laid an egg this morning. I have no idea what to do.
Should I just leave them alone?
I do not have an incubator.
This is their first egg, so I am very excited.

The egg should be fertilized because I have the Drake and Duck in the same pen.
Thank you, any advice will be appreciated.

Thank you for your help, your friend,

If you want them to hatch it, you should just leave it. When they are ready to start brooding she will set. It might take her a while to decide where she will build her nest. Congratulations!

All 3 pairs of my Calls are laying and i have almost 12 eggs now, I remove the egg and take a art pencil and mark who it's from and the date helps me keep track of old and new eggs.
If you don't want to leave the egg in the nest you can replace them with wooden eggs the calls won't be able to tell it's not their's.
I take mine inside mark them and place them in a Styrofoam carton, I don't use cardboard cartons just my thinking but i believe they draw the moisture out of the eggs.

Good luck
