Please help, my splash just laid an egg and it has blood on it!

I have been waiting for my splash to start laying again, and she finally laid an egg probably about 30 minutes ago, and it has blood on it.

I don't know what to do.

It's not unusual for a first egg, or even the first egg after a molting break. Just keep an eye on her to make sure it doesn't get worse, it may happen several times.

Was she molting, or broody for a while?

She is actually a new hen. She has been here going on 3 weeks and just now started laying again. She is suppose to be about 1 yr 3 months. Her crop is empty! I am making her a some mash with some grit in it.

I want to thank you guys for all the help and the fast responses. I just don't know what I would do without ya'll.

Should I wash the blood off of the egg? Or leave it on....
