Earlier today my call duck Beans started doing this, and I have no idea what to do or if it's even something to be concerned about!?! She made no sounds at all while she was doing this, and she finally stopped after about 15 minutes.... None of my duck have ever done anything like this and I'm just worried for her!! :(

It's weird. It almost looks like she's chewing and swallowing something. Was she eating right before this? It there anything on the floor that she could potentially eat? One of the difficulties of having ducks indoor is that they'll regard anything they can physically eat as probable food. Metal, glass, etc. Figure as long as she doesn't otherwise look distressed maybe just watch her?

Hopefully somebody else will have a better answer.

Can you post a full pic of her? so we can see her chest along with her body? Did she go for water right after?

I brought some water to her right after I took this video and had her drink... My biggest concern at the time was a potentially impacted crop, since I really have no idea what to do for her in that case. She seems fine today though, thankfully. Here's a photo of her that I just took right before writing this (her head is wet from having just finished playing in her water bowl lol):

How strange! These birds sure do have a way of keeping us on our toes, I'll give them that, lol!
