Please help.....New hen owner!!

Don't forget to take pics of your new girls! This can be an amazing thing to go back & review later.
When we adopted our girls from a Farm Animal Sanctuary, the first one I picked had thin feathers in places and lots of broken feathers, too. My poor husband actually questioned me 3 times after I said "yep, she's going home.". Everyone knows that you can (usually) fix a feather issue but you can't fix a personality defect! And our girl looked ratty as all get out, but MAN was she friendly, sweet, inquisitive and not spooked by us in the least!
Your girls will be so happy to be in a new home, with clean bedding, fresh, clean water & plenty of room to move around that you're going to be amazed at how their happy little personalities shine thru! It shouldn't be too long before you see new feather growth & (with treatment on their combs & wattles) see those spots clear up.
