please help...new to raising chicks!!!

I wish I had an answer for you, Im new to chicks myself & w/ my handicap chick for my first chick its very hard. But what I would do is give it time, I personally wouldnt want to create a new wound to fix the first, but thats my 2 cent:) Lots of Love, Shel

I'm glad chickie is better! I had a silkie very recently who developed wry neck at about 1.5 weeks old. About a pint of yogurt, lots of cuddles, and 48 hours later and she was perfectly straight again. There is always the chance that your boy, having had his neck a-"wry" for so long may have developed some extra muscle from having to hold it up in that position. How large is it? Could we see pictures? Also, where there was one defect, there may be another neck-related one, but I honestly wouldn't fret if he's eating, drinking, and not in pain.

here is the best pic i could get...he was sunning himself in the grass. i will also post in the sickness forum...thanks for the input!
