ok i have 11 chicks 6 brown leghorns, 3 speckled sussex and 2 road island reds they are 3 weeks old. one of the leghorns is picking on everyone (we think this is the rooster) one of the speckled sussex is being picked on the most and is bleeding (this happened last night) we separated the injured one, and the mean one out and put neosporin on her last night but today she seems to be lethargic

is there anything more i could do for her? are we going to lose her? help me please.

How did your chick get? I have one caged right now. The hens picked on one of the roosters. They are 6 weeks. His tail feathers were picked and he was all bloody. We're hoping to put him back with the others when he's all healed. Hope your's is okay.

Coat the sore spot with neosporin. Keep her away from her buddies until she is healed and feathers are covering the spot up.

Make sure she is drinking. Feed her some yogurt, scramble her some eggs. She needs protein.

Do you have any probiotics and electrolytes. She could use both.

Put her on some electrolytes or pedialyte or unflavored Gator Aid for a couple of days. Add a touch of sugar to the electrolytes since I think that one is the only one that doesn't have some sugar in it.

Put antibiotic ointment wherever she has an open wound. Keep applying it every day and she should heal up quickly.

Next, how much space to do these birds have? And what are you feeding them. You might have to resort to tossing in a half head of lettuce to keep them occupied if you have enough room.

thanks for the info guys
