Please help one of my hens is sick

my red sex link hen has been sick for about a week, we have her in the house so incase it is infectious it won't get the rest of my hens sick.

at the beginning of the week her abdomen was swollen so much that is was dragging on the ground so we got her inside cause she was getting pecked on by our rooster. so over the week she has gotten better she has been coughing and had a raspy sound, this morning she sounded like a raptor and she is going down hill i think, we picked her up to see her stomach to see if the swelling has gone down and in fact it had a lot, but then a clear gooey stuff was coming out of her mouth it looked alot like egg whites..

PLEASE HELP! I have no idea what is going on!

So sorry - I don't have any good advice, but here's a bump until someone more knowlegable chimes in. I hope it works out, but the symptoms sound very serious.

She is my favorite chicken to! she sits next to me and lets me pet her for hours, she even lets my younger cousin carry her for hours on end its really funny and it will be really sad if we can't save her.

I am so sorry. Is she around 2 or 3 years old? I am afraid it is going to be an egg laying problem, maybe egg peritonitis from internal laying, or a tumor. These chickens that were bred for high egg production seem to be prone to this. Read here and see if this helps any:
