Hi - I noticed about a week ago that one of my 6 Black Sex Links has a pale comb and is missing feathers on her head and neck. I looked closer and don't think I see any mites. She is 8 months and appears to be acting usual, maybe spending a bit more time by herself. Her poops do seem normal and none of my other girls have this. Not sure what to do? Also not sure if she has been laying but will keep a closer eye to be sure. Also I don't think it is a result of pecking as the other girls are not bothering her. I included the best pics I could get. I appreciate any help.

It’s probably the molt. Their combs get pale when they quit laying and molting normally starts around the head. Some pullets will skip the molt their first fall/winter and continue laying throughout the winter. Some don’t.
