Hey I need some advice. This is my Lion head rabbit's eye...I noticed today it was watering. He seems to have not been eating his newly switched food..so I went and bought his old food after I heard rabbits shouldn't have their food changed. He is from a shelter, I have had him for a month. He was healthy when I got him. He has been in an out door large hutch with my female and they have bonded...there doesn't appear to have any trauma however his eye is not dry and like this tonight. I did flush it with saline to get the fur out...but he doesn't shut his lid and I am freaking out over this. He can't be seen by our Vet until Thursday but to me he can't wait 2 more days!!! Does anyone have an opinion or advice??? Can rabbits use bacitracin neomycin polymyxin ointment?
No sneezing, running nose, checked his teeth they seem fine. Other eye is clear and normal
He is eating very little, still drinking water, chewing on hay, pooping n peeing. Does not have a fever.
