Please help re diagnose sick chicken possibly

Hey there, yesterday I got some really great responses to my chicken possibly have cocci. Today when I went out to let him out thris morning, he ate and everyting, didnt get a chance to check butt until right now. Poop was all over it, just slimy, and icky and bloody. I didnt think poop stuck to them like that when the had cocci, or at least it didnt when my polish had it. Could this be something else? I have started treatment with sulmet, but please let me know what you guys think!!!

Could be intestinal damage from worms; other than that, I don't know.

hmm..should I get some fenbendazole, and treat for worms? Any other ideas, since his butt is nasty??

It could be either... it could be that the original cocci onset has left the intestines so damaged your bird is simply unable to sufficiently deal with the load of cocci present in the environment.
Yes it could be capillaria also however this is a very ill bird and medicines is also hard on their system. Before giving him two meds I would get a caecal first and make sure of what you need to be treating for (DO treat again for the cocci in the meantime). Offering your birds free choice yogurt (the live culture one not the desert kind) may help.
