I have 2 babies they were hatched with there momma outside in the coop. They are doing very well. The black one came from my rooster which is cochin mix (He's my profile picture!). And the yellow and brownish one came from a blue egg!! She/he has green feet also!
Please help me decide weather or not I have a roos or pullets!!!! Thanks

The black one does not have a single comb type it appears. Does he have some silkie in him? I am certain the black chick is a cockerel. You can't judge by the comb because the comb is black. So you have to go on wattle growth and at four to five weeks that much wattle growth means boy.

The lighter one I am not so sure. I am thinking pullet but could you post a more close up pic of her/his head showing comb and any wattles?

Ooh that's a tricky one. It is difficult to tell shades of red/pink accurately in photos on a screen but if the comb is more red than pink it is most likely a boy. If it were a single comb type I would say girl but with that kind of comb, comb development and coloration at this age indicates male. I'm going with boy for this one too but I am not as sure.
