These are varying ages, from 6 weeks to 9 weeks old, I haven't heard any crowing, but I'm still not sure. We promised one of DH's friends we'd give him a few, a cockerel and a few pullets and a few pullets to keep for ourselves, but I'm sure what these are ...

Oh good, cuz I have been searching and searching for a roo in those pics. I think all girls too, except maybe the blue is a roo cuz it's head is a bit redder than the others. I don't know if that's a blue cochin thing or not. Pretty birds.
 
My Cochins were usually easy to tell early on. The boys tend to grow red combs and waddles very early on. Even if the combs aren't super red, they are usually very prominent, even by four weeks of age. Despite the somewhat roo-ish look of the last one, my best guess is all hens.
