That is great that those two are doing much better!

That was very sweet of your friend to get you another Muscovy. I would love to see pictures of the new boy when you have time.

I still have no idea what they got into. We did a thorough yard clean and I found the one dead fish. That entire area has been cleaned. I am new to ponds and our pond did not have a pump. We tested it for PH balance which was normal but even with the fish the water was stagnant. We’re in Hawaii in a wet, jungly part. There are tons of toads and coqui frogs (poisonous) and rat lung worm is prevalent. It’s a whole number of options. My friend who brought me the new Muscovy had her husband help my husband and I build a duck pen in a safe area that the call ducks and new boy are housed in. I am draining the pond and cleaning it and buying a pump. We also have a large avocado tree. I have horses who are separated from it because of the toxins but I didn’t know ducks are are also allergic. We’re cutting that down today.

The mew Muscovy I’m calling a boy because he is massive. But he may be a girl. He’s 9 months old. My son named him Grayskull (he’s 8 🙄) but I call him Brownie.

Hawks took her first steps this morning! Willis is doing excellent.

Here is what I did for them:
Two kinds of antibiotics from the vet. Two hours later probiotics from the vet. I gave them a very small dose of complex B vitamins. Blended duck food and syringes it on their tongue. I also did duck physical therapy and watched them in buckets.
