In March my turkey Tommie was a beautiful loving turkey who loved me and my family. She would always jump up and down when she saw us and would make cute little purring sounds. After March she started to loose less and less energy. She’s the only turkey in our flock and the chickens are afraid of her, so I give her lots of attention so that she can have a friend. Her energy loss was one thing, but when she started loosing the bright red color she once had on her face, and started loosing feathers I began to become concerned. Every one I asked said, “she’s just molting” but over 6 months is way too long of a time period for molting. She doesn’t respond with her cute little purrs anymore and she’ll only move when she’s hungry. Her poops are thick dark brown with a hint of white. Her face is a dark purple, and she’s about 1 1/2 years old. I’ve rolled out wry neck, molting, and black head. Please help me get back my happy little girl I once knew! (The first one is what she looked like back in March the second one was taken a few days ago)
