i have three young (4 month) turkeys that are acting like they have a cold or respiratory infection. they kindof gurgle when they breathe and they cough some. they are eating and drinking just fine. they seem to be moving around like normal although its so hot thats very little. my year old tom doesnt seem to be catching whatever this is. does anyone have any ideas?

Mycoplasma gallisepticum or Turkey sinusitis..... give injections of Tylan 50 ( 1/2cc for 4 month poults ) just under skin where neck and back meet for 3 days. It can spread so read up on it.

Sounds like a sinus issue! Is it dusty in their pen? If so, water it down every day if you can to keep the dust down. Like chickenzoo said, try Tylan but I like the Tylan 200 better than the Tylan 50 because the 200 is a one shot treatment. If you cant give a shot, then put about 2 CC's in a gallon waterer everyday for about 10 days.
