I think i should remove the smashed egg tomorrow, it is starting to smell, the shadowing is even less today and all blood vessels have disappeared. But I saw movement in 2 of the other eggs so fingers crossed they are okay and hatch safely

If you do an eggtopsy, it might help you to feel better about things. It might show you growth had stopped long before the hen stopped sitting on it. I do eggtopsies on all my eggs as a matter of course, and most of the time am able to say definitively, because of where it is in the development cycle, that it was nothing I did. Helps me let things go without guilt.

I'm sorry. It looks like that one quit pretty early into incubation (from what I can tell). You can compare to the chart that has the growth of the chick each day and figure out which day it stopped growing if you want to. It's in the Articles section.
