Please help! Sneezing chickens!!!

I am new to chickens this year and 3 out of 7 chickens are sneezing. I noticed one hen had black stuff on both nostrils so I cleaned her up with q tips with water on it and it cleaned her. Do they have a resperary infection? What can I do for them? I also noticed on her lice so im assuming everybody has them. Is it ok to be eating the eggs? I dont want to have to put them down but hubby wont let me take "thier just chichens" to the vet. Please help me

You might get more answers with more information about the age of your chickens, where you got them (farm store, hatchery, swap meet, breeder, etc.) and if you can include a close-up picture of the bugs people can make suggestions. On here pictures are so important to distinguish between mites, lice, or something else. Color of bugs can help too if you can't get pictures. Most types of bugs will spred to the other chickens and all of the litter and bedding.
